On the Development and Application of the Pan-hu Culture in the Yuan-River Basin

沅水是长江第三大支流,也是洞庭湖水系中水量最大、水能资源蕴藏最丰富的河流。它覆盖湘西、黔东、渝东和鄂西的部分地区,是四省市自然条件较差,但又是旅游资源最富集的所在地,本研究在前人翔实资料的基础上,经实地考察和验证,在尊重历史事实的前提下,将给人们展现更多的传奇故事和不朽的神话,并提出较为合理的开发与应用建议。

Yuan-River is the third largest branches of the Yangtze River, and of all the rivers in the water system of the Dongting Lake, it is the largest and richest in hydro-energy resource. It covers west Hunan, east Guizhou, east Chongqing and part of the west Hubei. Although its natural conditions is relatively poor in the four provinces cities, it possesses the richest resource of touring in there. More legends and myths will be demonstrated and reasonable suggestions for its development and application have been put forward on the basis of the full and accurate data of the predecessors, the field survey and verification, and the respect for historical facts.
