Women＇s English exhibits their female distinctions from that of men both in pronunciation and intonation. This used to be considered as a result of gender discrimination, which actually is a symbol of, and a must for, civilization. Compared with male speech, female speech is much closer to the standard pronunciation and elegant accent, their voice is much more penetrating and attractive. Their tone is much softer and much mellower. Besides, they prefer to use varying and implicit intonation patterns in their speech. These differences are due to many factors, physiological, social, psychological, cultural and ethical. Many aspects help to get a better and more comprehensive understanding of communication differences, especially the female healthy psychology of communication.
