My idea of a university expounded the idea of MeiYiqi about the university education systematically. Combined with the current actual of university education, to sum up seven opinions from My idea of a university and explain it systematically. The seven opinions are self-cultivation is the most basic preparation for civilizing peoplE; Without initiative, there would be no renewal; Leisure, solitude and friends are better approach to self- cultivation; Advocating the theory of Following-swimming, to establish a good relationship between teachers and students; General education is due to university education; University should be the leader in social and cultural; University should have academic freedom where people can think anything and talk anything.
