The New Discussion on YuAn Ang’s moral quality

袁盎是西汉初年的风云人物,历来对他褒贬不一,或褒为君子,或贬为小人。本文认为袁盎既不是君子,也不是小人,而是一个有着任侠特性的人。

YANG Ang was an important person in the early years of western Han dynasty. He has always been differently appraised in his conduct, or praise for the gentleman, or dismissed as a villain. This paper considers that YUAN Ang is neither a gentleman nor a villain, but one with distinct personal loyalty features.
