和谐单位是各种关系都很顺畅,各种活动井然有序,人、财、物紧密相融,事业蓬勃发展、蒸蒸日上,人们心情舒畅、安居乐业的单位。思想政治教育是有目的地对人们施加意识形态的影响,给被教育者传输国家的党政方针和政治观点,转变人们的思想,塑造人们的品德,提高人们的政治觉悟和世界观,进而指导人们行为的社会实践活动。思想政治教育在和谐单位的建设过程中,起着强化法制意识、确立社会主义的核心价值观和民本意识、形成科学发展共识、建立具有向心力、凝聚力的领导集体,形成良好群体氛围的重要作用。

Harmonic department is a department with suitable relations, well organized activities and up--going business. Labor, money and materials are connected together and people live and work happily there. Ideological and political education is a kind of social practice to influence ideology,deliver national policy and political view,build moral character,develop political consciousness and right world view,in order to guide the behavior of people.Ideological and political education is very important in the process of establishing harmonic department.
