摘要
依据自主学习理论对中国矿业大学非英语专业二年级学生进行自主学习能力的实证调查结果表明:非英语专业大学生的英语自主学习能力相对薄弱,学生对教师作用缺乏正确的认识,缺乏良好的英语学习氛围和自主学习的条件。因此,建议教师加强对学生自主学习的指导和更多地实行自主式课堂教学,而学生要加强对自主学习的认识,充分发挥学校各社团和网络技术的作用,以营造出自主学习的氛围。
Based on the related theories of learner autonomy, an empirical research was conducted among the second year non-English majors in China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). It shows that they have weak ability of AL, and most of them incorrectly understand the function of teacher and are short of good atmosphere and conditions for AL. Teachers can increase the guidance on students' AL and provide more AL classes, while students should well understand the function of AL. Associations of universities and network technology also can be adopted to establish AL atmosphere.
