The disclosure of government information requires more attention to be paid to the disclosure of active files, meeting people’s right to know by active disclosure or upon application. These new regulations are both opportunities and challenges for archive work. In the environment of making the government affairs known to the public, the paper puts forward that archives opening should follow the principles of activeness, timeliness, ease and efficiency in order to get with the new situation.
