摘要
歧义普遍存在于自然语言中。由于对句子结构的不同分析而产生的歧义称为结构歧义。结构歧义的产生有很多原因,以原型范畴理论和图形背景理论为基点对英语结构歧义的成因进行认知分析不失为结构歧义研究的另一新视角。
Ambiguity exists in all languages.As one type of ambiguities,structural ambiguity results from the different ways of component combination in a sentence.The article makes a cognitive analysis on English structural ambiguity in terms of archetype-category theory and figure-ground theory so as to provide a new perspective for structural ambiguity study.
