论清代土司区变动的过程、特点及原因——以土家族区域为例证

The Process,Characteristics and Causes of the Transformation of Chieftain Area in Qing Dynasty——Taking Tujia Nationality Area for Example

文章以土家族区域为例证讨论了清代土司区变动的过程、特点及原因,认为清代土司区变动过程反映了清朝在"家/国"认识问题上的转化过程,国家权力与秩序调整的核心是土司区的自治必须绝对服从王朝国家的根本利益,王朝国家的政治需要和内忧外患决定了我国土司区的变动乃至是否消失。

Taking Tujia nationality area as an example, this article explores the process, characteristics and causes of the transformation of the chieftain area in Qing dynasty. The writer of the article holds the view that the transforming process reflected the Qing dynasty＇ s changing cognition of the relationship between ＂homestead and nation＂ . The kernel of national power and order adjustment lies in the fact that the autonomy of chieftain area must absolutely be subjected to the basic interest of the nation. The change, even the disappearance of chieftain system in our country, was determined by the dynasty＇ s political needs and the internal and external troubles of the ruling ciass.
