从裴启《语林》看人物品藻的内涵演变

在《世说新语》成书之前,志人小说中最负盛名的当推东晋裴启的《语林》。此书堪称"魏晋风度"之生动图画。品题之风是裴启《语林》一书的主要内容。从《语林》一书中可以看出人物品藻的内涵演变,东汉时品题标准注重"德行",汉末魏初人物品藻标准注重"英雄"与"才能",魏正始以迄两晋时期品藻标准以审美为目的。以审美为目的的品藻标准体现了魏晋士人的名士风度,对中国人文精神产生了极大影响。
