论跨世纪文献信息人员的素质与培养

On Quality and Training of Cross-Century Documentation and Information Professionals

我国文献信息工作者的现状是参差不齐，总体水平落后，所以整体素质亟待提高．本文对跨世纪文献工作者的素质要求提出了新的观卢、，强调管理自动化和外语水平的提高．认为提高文献信息工作者素质的手段主要是继续教育．文中还论述了继续教育的内容及培养复合型人材的必要性和紧迫性．

The quality of our country's documentation and information professionals is highly different and backward in general and so has to be improved. In the article, the authors present their opinions on the quality of documentation and information professionals with focus on improving their knowledge in management automation and foreign languages. The authors believe that the way to improve their quality is continuing education. The article also discuee the content of continuing education and the necessity and argency to have comprehensive talents.
