摘要
我国高校专业英语作为大学英语学习的第二阶段,旨在提高学生的语言应用能力。本文探讨了如何从教师队伍、教材设计、教学方法、考核手段、学生主动性等方面对我国目前专业英语存在的弊端进行改革,从而切实帮助学生提高专业综合英语的运用能力,适应社会的实际发展需要。
ESP, as the task of second stage of English study at universities,aims to enhance college students' language application ability.How can people do to achieve this goal and help college students transit from the processes of language acquisition to language application so as to meet the society' s demands.This article explores tentatively this subject from the perspectives of teacher,textbook,teaching method,way of examining and students' initiative etc.
