根据新疆的气候特点,地域优势,提出了减棉、稳粮、促果的农业结构调整思路。新疆的农业发展,应该以生态建设为重点,以农业结构调整为突破口,充分发挥地域光热资源优势,大力发展特色林果业,促进农民持续增收。发展特色林果产业,做好规划、政策引导、扶持龙头企业、推广新技术、注重人员培训,推进农业产业化进程,实现生态、经济和社会三大效益的有机统一,促进新疆特色林果业可持续发展。

The weak Ecological environment and large single - scale cotton production are the main factors to restrict long - term development of agriculture in the southern region of xinjiang . It is should be enhanced to change agricuhural composition, to develop foreatry and horticuhure with technolgical innovation and to improve eeologial environment for realizing the sustainable development of agricuhure.
