Figures of Speech in the Teaching of English Major

在英语专业的教学中,修辞学时常被教师和学生所忽视。但修辞学对英语学习却起到了非常大的作用。本文把在英语专业教学中常出现的和重要的修辞格加以总结和分析,试图使教师和学生对修辞的重要性给予重视,并能尝试运用到实际中。

During the teaching of English major,teachers and students have quite a lot of neglectfulness on the study of figures of speech.However,figures of speech play an important role in English study.In this paper,the common and important figures of speech appeared in the teaching of English major have been summed up and analyzed,which tries to make teachers and students know the importance of figures of speech and try to apply it in real situations.
