摘要
双关是广告语言中非常重要的修辞格,它的使用能增加广告语的吸引力与趣味性。本文拟探讨英文广告双关修辞格的运用与分类情况,并在此基础上摸索出英文广告双关翻译的五大策略。
Pun is a very important figure of speech in advertisements,the adoption of which can add attraction and humor to the language of advertisements.This paper attempts to explore the utilization and classification of puns in English advertisements and accordingly it puts forward five translation strategies of them.
