Bion’s Theory on Psychosis of Object Relations

Bion is one of the thinkers and practioners of object relations with the strongest influence in the late 20th century. In the area of psychopathology, he initiated a revolution of how analyts understand the patients in the consulting rooms in a mild way. Bion believed that psychosis was the result of interaction between inborn disposition and environment. The per- sonality included the parts of psychosis and non--psychosis. The analyst should keep the attitude of without memory and without desire in the therapy, which could achieve the result of psychoanalysis.
