利用边缘方向检测实现H.264帧内预测编码的新算法 被引量:6

摘要 提出了一种能够快速实现帧内预测编码的新算法,该算法先利用宏块分割进行宏块边界方向检测,得到图像纹理的方向,只在最可能的几个模式中进行模式选择,从而降低了运算量.对不同的视频测试序列的仿真结果表明,使用该算法后帧内编码时间平均可以减少72.64%.同时保持相近的图像压缩质量和码率水平. A tool for intra prediction is introduced in the new video coding standard-H. 264, and this technique can cut down the spatial redundancy effectively. Though intra prediction can improve the efficiency of the intra eneoder, it is undoubtedly computationally intensive. To overcome this drawback, a novel fast intra prediction algorithm is proposed in this paper. By making use of the division of the macro-block, the edge direction is detected first and the direction of texture is estimated. Then the intra mode decision will be made among several most possible modes, which can diminish the number of the calculation. For variable video sequences, simulation results show that with the proposed algorithm the time of the intra coding can be reduced about 72.64% while keeping a close quality and precision.
