摘要
基于对我校毕业生及其用人单位的调查结果的分析，提出高等工程教育应以培养工程师为目标；并结合我国具体国情，探求面向２１世纪工程师的专业素质构成和要求。
Based on the investigative results of Wuhan Automotive Polytechnic University graduates and their hired units, that the higher education of engineering should be aimed at engineers trainning is put forward. According to the situation in China, the composition and requirements of engineers in the 21st century are discussed.
