摘要
介绍2×2光纤耦合器的原理和制作,采用3dB光纤耦合器进行级联实现了8×2.5Gb/s时分复用器,信号源采用增益开关量子阱DFB激光器,脉冲宽度为40ps,周期为400ps。
The principle and its fabrication of 2×2 optical fiber coupler have been introduced in this paper.By utilizing 3 dB optical fiber directional coupler and concatenated, we fabricated 8×2.5 Gb/s optical time division multiplexer.The optical pulse source is a gain switched quantum well DFB laser, which generates pulse with width 40 ps and period 400 ps.
