一种新的面向卫星网络的链路层S-MAC协议

摘要 媒体接入控制协议是卫星网络的一个重要协议。为提高卫星通信网络的信道利用率,提出一种将固定时隙分配和按需请求分配相结合的混合式S-MAC协议。仿真结果表明:S-MAC协议在吞吐量性能上明显优于现有的纯固定分配,在仿真的后期逐渐超过纯按需分配的吞吐量,S-MAC协议在提高信道利用率的同时,保持了较高的吞吐性能和传输时延性能。 Media Access Control protocol is an important protocol in satellite networks. To improve the bandwidth utilization of the satellite networks,a hybrid S-MAC protocol which combines Fix Assignment Multiple Access with Demand Assignment Multiple Access is proposed. Simulation results show that S-MAC protocol improves throughput performance greatly comparing with the existing pure Fix Assignment Multiple Access, and gradually exceeds pure Demand Assignment Multiple Access in the final phase of the simulation, S-MAC protocol improves the bandwidth utilization, and achieves higher throughput performance as well as with short transmission delay.
