Financial Development,Income Distribution and Economic Growth

摘要本文简要评述研究金融发展、收入分配与经济增长关系的文献。文献表明,金融发展与经济增长的关系取决于金融是否可以增加(物质资本或人力资本)投资总量和/或金融是否可以优化投资结构。同时,文献也表明,如果金融发展有利于穷人进行融资,那么金融发展会缩小收入不平等;反之,金融发展则会扩大收入不平等。 The paper reviews the literature on financial development,income distribution and economic growth. It is shown that the relationship between financial development and economic growth is determined by whether or not financial development is conducive to the accumulation of (physical or human) capital and/or to improve allocation of investment. In addition,theory implies that if financial development eases financial constraints of the poor,then it decreases income inequality,in contrast,if it alleviates financial constraints of the rich,then it increases income inequality.
