学科专业建设是大学的基础性建设,而调整与建构学科专业布局又是学科专业建设之首。尤其是综合性艺术院校必须在准确定位的基础上,统筹科学规划,不断合理调整学科专业设置。针对市场艺术人才需求不断的变化和目前发展的实际,新疆艺术学院的学科专业发展规划存在学科专业布局与学院与发展定位协调不够,学科专业布局的办学特色体现不够鲜明,学科专业建设的侧重点不够等问题。从学术研究的角度对学院目前的学科专业结构与布局进行思考。
