The Impacts and Protective Factors of Middle-School Principals' Physical and Mental Health

以208名中学校长为被试,运用问卷法测查其身心健康与职业倦怠、自我和谐的相关,结果发现中学校长的身心健康状况良好;职务、性别与工龄因素区分了身心健康的部分差异;职业倦怠与身心健康有非常显著的负相关,自我和谐与社会健康高度负相关;职业倦怠对身心健康的预测作用达到了显著水平,是身心健康的影响因素之一,自我和谐对其保护性作用发挥不显著。

In order to know the correlation of physical and mental health with job burnout, self-consistency and congruence, we conducted an investigation of 208 middle-school principals and found their physical-and-mental-health was in a good state, and the factors of position, gender and length of service partially accounted for the difference of their physical and mental health. There was a negative correlation between job-burnout and physical and mental health at a significant level and their self-consistency-and-congruence had a negative correlation with social health. Job-burnout became an important factor in predicting the physical and mental health significantly but self-consistency-and-congruence had an insignificant protective effect on it.
