唐君毅是中国近现代史上著名的思想家和哲学家,也是现代新儒家的重要代表人物之一。他毕生从事新儒学的研究和宣传,为新儒学的发展作出了卓越贡献。他所阐述的治理中国学术的态度和方法,对于纠正当今学术界的一些错误倾向,繁荣社会主义的学术文化,具有十分重要的现实启迪意义。

Tang Junyi was one of the important representatives of modem new Confucianism, as well as a famous thinker and philosopher in China modem history. He had studied and propagated modern new Confucianism all through his life and he made great contributions to its development. The attitudes and methods he expounded on developing Chinese academy that is of the vital realistic enlightenment significance for correcting some erroneous tendency in academic community nowadays and prospering socialist academic culture.
