从文化相对论的视角解析“西学东渐”

Understanding the Phenomenon of "West Learning Spreading to the East" from a Perspective of Cultural Relativity

文化相对论认为,不同种类的文化之间是平等的,没有高低、优劣之分。不可否认,此种观点存在相当程度的合理性,然而在承认这一观点的同时又如何解释我国近代以来的"西学东渐"现象,便是值得深入研究的。本文将从文化相对论的视角对"西学东渐"加以解析,为我国经济文化全面发展提出一点建议。

Cultural relativity believes that different kinds of cultures are equal. There is nothing superior or inferior, good or bad. To some extent this theory is reasonable. However, it faces some problems in explaining the phenomenon of ＂ West Learning Spreading to the East＂. This paper has investigated the phenomenon of ＂ West Learning Spreading to the East＂ from a perspective of cuhural relativity, aiming at offering some advice to realize the modernization of China.
