对勒菲弗尔“改写论”的误读

Misreading of Lefevere’s "Theory of Rewriting"

勒菲弗尔作为翻译操控学派的旗手,其"改写论"是翻译研究文化转向最直接的理论基础。"翻译是对原文的一种改写"得到翻译研究学者的广泛认同。国内学者对"改写论"也存在一些误读,把作为一种文学理论和文学翻译理论的"改写论"误用为应用翻译理论,把无意识的改写看成有意识的主体行为,并把它夸大为翻译的本质。对这些观念的澄清有助于更好地描述翻译事实,解释翻译现象。

As the pioneer of manipulation school, Lefevere＇s ＂theory of rewriting＂ is a theoretical foundation for cultural turn in translation studies. The conceptualization of＂translation is a rewriting of an original text＂ is well accepted in the translation studies circle. But there is some misreading of his theory by some Chinese scholars. They have mistaken the literary theory of ＂theory of rewriting＂ as an applied translation theory and unconscious rewriting as a conscious subjective activity, and they have even exaggerated rewriting as the nature of translation. Clarification of these misconceptions is conducive to a better description of translation fact and a better explanation of translation phenomena.
