实验室虚拟机蓝屏死机问题的解决方法

Solution of the Problems due to Blue Screen of Death in the Virtual Machine in Laboratory

虚拟机和还原卡是学校机房非常有用的2个工具。虚拟机软件可以在一台主机中同时启动多台虚拟客户机,特别适合网络实验;还原卡让计算机每次启动时还原到初装状态,便于机房维护。但两者结合,会出现一些问题:比如主机异常声响、蓝屏、死机、新安装的软件不能使用,等等。造成这些问题的原因是对还原卡和虚拟机的原理不清,不能正确设置还原卡和虚拟机。正确设置的原则是:设置较大的还原卡暂存区,设置主机和虚拟机占用较少的暂存区。通过适当的设置,能显著改善实验环境。

Virtual machine and disk protection card are two useful tools in the laboratory. Virtual machine software enables several virtual machines to run at the same time in a physical computer, especially is suited for network experiment. Disk protection card makes computer restore to its original state, it is convenient for maintenance of laboratory. But some problems occur when two tools are used at the same time, such as strange sound from host computer, blue screen, system halted, installed software not working, etc. The cause of the problems maybe are the following： the principle of virtual machine and disk protection card are not comprehended, and configuration of the virtual machine and disk protection card are not set right. The proper setting principle is： configuring disk protection card has a larger temporary storage area, while host computer and virtual machine with smaller temporary storage area. The effect of experiment can be improved obviously by proper setting.
