Simvastatin effects on bone formation of femoral in rat

摘要 目的本实验通过从骨组织形态计量学观察辛伐他丁是否具有促进骨的形成作用。方法24只雌性SD大鼠被随机分成试验组和对照组(每组12只):实验组给予辛伐他丁20mg·kg-1,每天一次灌胃,对照组给予相同剂量的生理盐水。于4周时间将大鼠处死,抽取右侧股骨用于骨组织计量学检测。所得数据经过SAS(V8.1)处理。结果辛伐他丁组的骨小梁面积百分率(BV/TV)、骨形成率(BFR/BS)与对照组没有明显差别;结论辛伐他丁不能促进骨的形成。 OBJECTIVE In order to evaluate simvastatin effect on the development of skeleton with bone histomorphometry. METHODS 24 eight- nine week-old female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomized divided into two groups (n = 12 each) : control Group, the vehicle control group, saline was given per day for four weeks by gastric tube; experimental group, 20mg. kg^-1 simvastatin was given per day for four weeks by gastric tube; All animals were sacrificesd one days after the final garage of vehicle or simvastatin. To assess the parameters for bone formation by bone histomorphometry, the proximal half of the right tibiae were removed from simvastatin and vehicle treated rats; All the parameters were dealed with SAS(V8.1). RESULTS Trabeeular bone volume (BV/ TV) and bone formation rate (BFR/BS) has no significant difference between the simvastatin group and control group. CONCLUSION From this study, Simvastatin (20mg· kg^-1, given perorall per day for four weeks ) can not promoter the Skeleton formation of femoral in rat.
