摘要
采用实验和数值模拟方法研究了单层二元混合颗粒在水平振动条件下的颗粒分离现象.结果表明填充密度对二元颗粒分离有着重要影响.随着填充密度的增加,颗粒团会逐步出现反转和颗粒分离现象.这一研究为揭示颗粒物分离的巴西果效应提供了简单的典型模式.
The segregation of a mixture with two size spheres on the horizontal revolving pan was investigated into. The experimental and computational results indicate that the packing density of particles played an important role in segregation. As the packing density increased, the cluster of granular matter moved in the opposite direction with respect to the swirling motion of the container and a demixing occurred. This experiment can serve as a simple model to reveal the Brazil-nut effect in the size segregation of granular matter.
