摘要
转喻作为一种基本的认知机制在语法结构的形成中扮演重要角色。动词结构中价的扩展与压缩、名词向动词的转换以及成分扩充等语法现象借助转喻成为语言现实。这类语法现象可以通过基于类属理想化认知模型的相关激活操作得到解释,激活操作的成功进行取决于能否在类属认知模型中建立转喻联系。从认知角度分析动词结构的转喻理据为进一步揭示一般思维和语言能力之间的关系提供了一个很好的窗口。
Metonymy, as a kind of basic cognitive mechanism, plays an important role in grammar. Metonymy is a basis for realization of valency extension and reduction, shift from noun to verb and enriched composition in verb structure. These grammatical phenomena can be explained by activation based generic ICMs. The successful activation depends on successful establishment of metonymy connection in the genetic ICMs. Analyzing the metonymic motivation behind verb structure provides a wonderful window for the further research of the relationship between general thinking and language ability.
