A Journey From "Goodwill" to "Humanity"——On the Construction of the Essence of the Culture of National Capital

"首善之区"是首都城市精神,北京文化特质;人文北京、科技北京、绿色北京三大理念支撑起"首善之区"的内容框架;人文是科技与绿色的内核,人文水准决定着"首善"的规模质量。首都城市的真正现代化,关键在于提升人的现代性,使国内外民众广泛感知"善意",认同"首善"。因此首都文化建设的着眼点在以人文、科技、绿色为资源的善意传播,着力点在所有领域认真"积累善意"。

The ＂goodwill of the best of all places＂ is the spirit of the national capital and at the same time the special quality of Beijing culture. The three concepts of ＂People＇s Beijing, High-tech Beijing and Green Beijing＂ substaneialize the content of the ＂goodwill of the best of all places＂. ＂ People＇ s Beijing＂ is the core of ＂High-tech Beijing and Green Beijing.＂ The standard of ＂People＇s Beijing＂ decides the scale and quality of the ＂goodwill＂ of the national capital. The modernization of the capital city depends upon the improvement of the modern ideology of the people. It is, therefore, necessary to let people around the world know the ＂goodwill＂ of the national capital and to identify with it. The spreading of the goodwill of the three concepts is of vital importance of the construction of the capital culture, and the accumulation of the goodwill will be of the most important in all walks of life.
