A gradual transformation from blood relationship to geopolitical relations is the developing trend in the history of the traditional social organizations between Hainan Li nationality and Gaoshan ethnicity in Taiwan. There exists a great deal of similarity among traditional social organizations in the delimitation of geographical boundaries, the constitution of the basis of social organization and tribal decision-makings, which fully proves that the two tribes have similar cultural gene.
