摘要
从make一词的使用入手对85篇天津外国语学院英语学院英美文化系一年级学生的习作进行了分析和研究,借以探讨中式英语在英文写作中的情况。研究结果表明:(1)学生较多地使用make+名词作宾语和make+sb./sth.+形容词、动词的过去分词或名词作宾语补足语;(2)母语负迁移和过度使用目的语原则导致的误用make的情况极不显著。要避免中式英语现象,就要给学生大量的规范目的语输入。
It has studied Chinglish in students' writing by taking a close look at the use of verb "make" in 85 compositions written by English majors (freshmen) in the Department of Literatures and Cultures, School of English Studies, Tianjin Foreign Studies University. The result shows that students tend to use two kinds of collocation: make + noun as object and make + sb./sth. + adjective, past participle and noun as object complement. Misuse of verb "make" resulted from mother tongue transfer and overgeneralization is not significant. The result also manifests immense authentic target language input is the best solution to avoid Chinglish.
