研究火山与地球内部构造的新途径--宇宙射线粒子的观测与应用

摘要 介绍研究火山与地球内部构造的新方法,即宇宙射线粒子观测方法。该方法最近发展迅速,特别是通过利用μ粒子透视火山内部构造的观测已经取得成功,利用地球中微子来观测地球内部热分布也取得了初步结果。 A new approach, cosmic-ray radiography to study interior structure of the earth is introduced, which is the completely different method from the traditional geophysical observations. As a new method,the cosmic-ray radiography has been rapidly developed in the last years. Especially,the cosmic-ray μ-mesons are successfully used for observing interior structure of volcanos. The geo-neutrinos are used to investigate earth' s interior thermal structure and some preliminary results were obtained.
