Effects of Electroacupuncture on bcl-2 and bcl-XL in the Degenerative Cervical Intervertebral Disc of Rats

摘要 目的:观察电针天柱穴对大鼠颈椎间盘退变组织bcl-2、bcl-XL表达的影响。方法:将40只SD雄性大鼠,随机分为4组,即假手术组、电针组、西药组和模型组,每组10只。除假手术组外,其余3组造成动静力失衡性颈椎间盘退变模型。电针组给予电针天柱穴、大杼穴治疗;西药组用芬必得治疗;模型组造模后不作任何处理。治疗30d后,运用免疫组化法观察各组大鼠椎间盘组织bcl-2、bcl-XL的表达。结果:bcl-2在电针组、假手术组和西药组中表达明显高于模型组(P<0.01),电针组、假手术组和西药组之间的表达无显著性差异。bcl-XL在电针组的表达低于假手术组(P<0.01),高于西药组、模型组(P<0.01)。结论:电针可以提高大鼠退变椎间盘组织bcl-2、bcl-XL的表达,是其延缓椎间盘组织凋亡,发挥治疗作用的可能途径之一。 Objective: To observe the effects of electroacupuncutre at Tianzhu point on the expressions ofbcl-2 and bcl-XL in the degenerative cervical intervertebral disc of rats. Methods Forty SD male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, sham surgery group, model group, Western medicine group and electroacuptmcture group, there were 10 rats in each group. Except for rats in the sham surgery group, rats in the other groups were made to be of cervical intervertebral disc degeneration by unbalanced dynamic and static forces. Rats in the electroacupunture group were treated with electroacupuncture at Tianzhu (BL 10) and Dazhu (BL 11) points, while rats in the Western medicine group with Fenbid, and rats in the model group were not treated. After 30-day treatments, the expressions of bcl-2 and bcl-XL were observed with immunohisto-chemical method in the cervical intervertebral disc. Results: The expression of bcl-2 was higher in the electroacupuncture, sham surgery, and western medicine groups than that in the model group (P〈0.01), whereas, there was no difference among these three groups. The expression of bcl-XL in the electroacupuncture group was lower than that in the sham surgery group (P〈0.01), and higher than those in the Western medicine group and model group (P〈0.01). Conclusion: Electroacupuncture treatment can enhance the expressions of bcl-2 and bcl-XL, which may be the mechanism of delaying the cell apoptosis in the intervertebral disc to treat diseases.
