1927至1937年,江西乡村社会在革命、改良的冲击之下,其变迁都具有明显的迁延性。出现这种结局的根本原因,就在于传统乡村社会存在着不易改变的"弹性结构",这种结构就像一张巨型的弹性之网,它可以在很大的程度上制约和消减农村革命与改良的绩效。

In Jiangxi, from 1927 to 1937, the rural society＇ s transition process is long delaid under the attack of the revolution and reform. The root cause is ＂elastic structure＂ ,which is not easy to change in the traditional rural society. This structure resembles a vast elastic net. It can restrict and reduce the rural revolution and the ameliorating performance to a great extent.
