With proper process binary metal adipates can be used to formulate lubricating greases with high drop points. This paper presents the formation mechanism of.binary metal adipates, the compatibility of lithium and calcium complex , lithium and barium complex , lithium and aluminum complex soaps with several base oils and the respective properties of the fully formulated greases.
