On the Meaning-based Philosophical Origin of the Interlinkage between Translation and Dictionary

"翻译"与"词典"的链接有着深层次的意义哲学溯源,即两者在人类语言实践过程中形成的事实交叉根本上归因于人类对于意义的一种高质量能动追求。尽管两者在意义取向上存在着差异,关涉到如何辨证观照意义世界的主体性这一基本哲学命题,两者仍然在这种能动需求决定下,在实践过程中建构有一种基于"意义"的"供-需"机制,但是又因为各自意义取向的严重背离而且亲且疏。

Established on the perspective of the philosophy of meaning, this article explores the origin of the interlinkage between translation and dictionary, and argues that the actual interlinkage of the two language activities attributes to an advanced and voluntary pursuit of meaning of human beings. Just because of the pursuit, translation and dictionary have constructed a pragmatic supply-demand mechanism based on MEANING on the one hand, and on the other hand have had to be closely related with and estranged from each other due to the severe discrepancy of their respective meaning orientation in practice.
