宋六陵作为江南最大的皇家陵寝,具有独特的文史、艺术、经济和科学价值。将其按照遗址公园的模式进行开发建设是旅游发展、遗址保护和展现多种价值的内在需要;同时当地的社会、经济和环境条件以及国家文物保护法的修改使宋六陵建设遗址公园具备了切实的可行性。最终通过建设遗址公园,实现陵园保护与发展的双赢。

As the biggest imperial mausoleum south of the Yangtze River, the Six Song-dynasty Mausoleums has its unique value in many aspects such as culture and history, arts, and economic and scientific study. To develop the imperial mausoleums into a ruins park is the inherent needs of tourism industry, ruins protection and the display of its multiple value. The most important thing is that the local conditions and the modification of the Law of the People ＇ s Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics have made the construction of the ruins park more feasible. Finally, the construction of the park aims at the balance of the protection and the development of the Mausoleums.
