Calendar advertisement reached its prime time in 1930s.The deep Chinese national culture accumulation is the creative source of calendar advertisement.The economic development in the period of the Republic of China laid the foundation for its prosperity.Chinese artistic painters made the calendar advertisement popular by connecting their artistic creation with their patriotic ideology. Advanced printing technology introduced from the western countries further flourished calendar advertisement development in China.
