我国现行的以学校为中心的思想政治教育,基本上是局限在国家"原生态"自上而下的,以灌输为主的外施性方法进行的,忽视了自下而上的以社会为主阵地的草根性。在国家与草根之间出现断裂,直接影响了思想政治教育的效果。现代思想政治教育社会生态是连接国家政治与市民社会相融合的新型的思想政治教育路经,具有诸项超越原生态思想政治教育价值的特性,使自上而下的以政府、学校为中心的思想政治教育理念逐步与自下而上的以社会为主阵地的草根化思想政治教育理念上下连接,相互融通,相互滋养,以改变思想政治教育的现状,提升其实效性。
