多模双包层光纤放大器的实现

摘要 采用多模包层泵浦技术虽然实现了大的信号光输出,但是因为它是在合束器处集中放大的,如果输入的信号比较弱,输出信号的噪声系数就会很大。另外,因为多模泵浦内部不集成半导体制冷器,所以一般不对它进行恒温控制,而是依赖散热器及风扇排放热量,如果整机的功耗太大,散热系统的负担就会很重,输出光功率的稳定性很难得到保证。本项目在信号光进入双包层有源光纤之前先加一级前置放大来降低放大器的噪声系数,将多模泵浦串联后统一驱动来降低控制电路的热功耗。研究结果表明,放大器的噪声系数在输入光功率从-10.0dBm~+10.0dBm都满足小于6.0dB的行业要求,同时,多模泵浦串联后统一控制的方案使整机的热功耗大大降低。
