The Research on How to Effectively Make Use of English Movies to Improve English Skills

随着多媒体技术的广泛运用及英语教学法的不断革新,英语电影资源被不断运用到英语专业教学过程中来。以当代外语教学法为基础,以英语电影资源为素材,遵循从视听说入手、加强口语操练、读写及时跟上的原则,力求探索出一套有效利用英语电影资源提高学生英语专业技能的方法。

With the extensive application of multimedia technology and continuous innovation in English teaching methods, English movies have been being applied to the English teaching for English majors. Based on the contemporary Foreign Language Teaching Methodology （FLTM） , taking English movies as teaching material, following the principle starting with visual listening and speaking, strengthening oral drills, followed by timely reading and writing practices, this article aims to explore a set of methods for English majors to effectively improve English skills.
