摘要
通过实证及问卷调查,研究理工类大学生在英语阅读中的附带词汇习得情况。结果表明:学生在阅读中可以习得新词汇;英语水平与词汇习得没有显著相关关系;语境线索类型影响其习得效果。因此作者提出了一些帮助学生在阅读中进行附带词汇学习的建议。
The paper studies incidental vocabulary learning in college science students' English reading through experiments and questionnaires. It is found that students can learn new words in incidental vocabulary learning ;there is no obvious correlation between students' proficiency and their learning efficacy; context type has some effect on the learning efficacy. Besides, some pedagogical implications are made for helping improve students" incidental vocabulary learning efficacy.
