The Foundation of Henan News and the Comment on Its Main Content

在近代中国处在危难之际,为启迪民智,惊醒国人,河南留日学生于1906年12月创办《豫报》。该杂志发行时间虽然不长,却产生了不小的社会影响,号召国人认清形势,团结对外,此外也宣传了资产阶级改良及革命思想。

At the moment when China was in danger in modem time, in order to enlighten and awaken the people, Henan student studying Japan launched the Henan News in December, 1906. Although not been published for long time, this magazine brought about profound social consequence, appealing people to be fully aware of situation and unit against foreign. It also propagated bourgeois reformism and revolutionary thoughts.
