摘要
阅读和写作都是阅读者或写作者利用原有知识建构意义的过程,两者相辅相成,相互促进。读写结合能有效培养学生的反思和鉴赏能力。本文通过介绍美国读写结合方面的一些研究成果及教学实践,强调在读写活动中构建意义的同时注重培养学生的反思能力,以期对我国外语教学界乃至语文教学界存在的一些困惑有所启发。
Reading and writing are the processes in which the writer and the reader generate ideas using their prior knowledge. They supplement, complement and promote each other. Reading and writing working together has been found to enhance students' ability to think critically and engagement as members of a community with voices. The essay presents the coverage of strategies and practices which have emerged as a way of having students use writing in conjunction with reading and of responding to the writing. As a result in practices, students are not only being encouraged to generate ideas but they are also being given feedback on the quality of their thinking.
