The paper describes the type of complex refractory iron ores and the beneficiation situation,summarizes the mechanism of magnetization roasting for refractory iron ores,and introduces the characteristics of new technique of magnetization roasting and its typical tests results,namely Flash Magnetic Roasting.It is pointed out that the flash magnetization roasting technology can realize the economic and high-efficient utilization of the complex refractory iron ore which can not or less be used in the past.
