Synthesis of p-Methoxyacetophenone Using Iodine as Catalyst

摘要 以碘为催化剂,由苯甲醚与乙酸酐进行酰基化反应合成对甲氧基苯乙酮。考察了反应物摩尔比、催化剂用量、反应温度及反应时间对产物收率的影响,确定了最佳反应条件为:苯甲醚为0.1mol,苯甲醚与乙酸酐的摩尔比为1∶1.5,催化剂的最佳质量为1g,反应时间为1.5h,反应温度100℃,产品收率达到52.9%。比较了不同种类催化剂对苯甲醚与乙酸酐酰化反应的催化效果。结果表明,碘的催化效率远高于杂多酸及沸石分子筛,是高效酰化反应的催化剂。初步探讨了反应机理。 para-Methoxyacetophenone (p-MOAP) was prepared by the acylation of anisole (AN) and acetic anhydride (AA) with iodine used as a catalyst. The effects of various factors such as molar ratio of anisole to acetic anhydride, dosage of cata-lyst, reaction temperature and time on the yield of p-MOAP were examined. The suitable reaction conditions were optimized as a anisole/acetic anhydride (AA) mote ratio of 1 : 1.5, catalyst weight of 1g, reaction temperature of 100℃, reaction time of 1.5 h. The highest yield of 88.37% is obtained. Catalytic activity of different kinds of catalysts in acylation of anisole with acetic anhydride has been investigated. The experiment result indicate that iodine can he used as a catalyst for the acylation of anisole.
