对外语人才培养的思考——重读《关于外语专业面向21世纪本科教育改革的若干意见》有感

Some thoughts on foreign language talent cultivation

改革开放30年来高校外语专业发生了深刻变化。20世纪90年代末教育部颁布的《关于外语专业面向21世纪本科教育改革的若干意见》为新世纪高校外语专业的发展指明了方向。虽然《若干意见》颁布至今已有十余年，但是它所论述的高校外语专业的办学理念、人才规格、培养模式等依然对今天乃至今后一段时期的外语专业教学改革有着重大的指导意义。无论是高校外语专业教师还是管理人员都可以在重读《若干意见》的过程中受益。

Great changes have taken place in undergraduate foreign language programs in the past 30 years of reform and opening-up in China. The Education Reform of Foreign Language Majors at the College Level for the 21st Century issued at the end of the 1990s by the Ministry of Education set up a framework for further development and reform of foreign language education in the 21st century. Although it has been more than 10 years since its publication, the document is still and will be of enlightenment for foreign language education reform. Its elaboration on the training principles, training goals and training modes of foreign language education has been instructive for both foreign language teachers and the managerial staff.
