摘要
自20世纪80年代以来,外语教育一直以培养交际能力为目标,与之相对应的是语言羽l试将语言运用的准确性和得体性作为基本要求;但是,我国外语教育却始终陷于“费时低效”的困境。本文就此从理论与实践两方面对以培养交际能力为目标的外语教育及其评价提出了时代的质疑,并倡导以发展综合认知能力为目标的外语教育,进而提出了用以超越一创新为取向的第六代评价来推进以发展综合认知能力为目标的外语教育的主张。
Since the 1980s, foreign language education has had communicative competence development as its goal, and accuracy and appropriacy as basic testing requirements. However, foreign language education in China has long been haunted by ineffectiveness and inefficiency characterized by the astonishingly poor return on the enormous investment of time, finances and human resources. This paper attempts to question from the theoretical and pedagogical perspectives the consensus that communicative competence development is the goal of foreign language education, and the evaluation that serves this goal. It proposes integrated cognitive competence development as the goal of foreign language education, and initiates the transcendence and creativity oriented sixth generation evaluation in order to promote foreign language education.
